Advicity Affiliate Terms
Version 1 · in force as Advicity’s working version from October 27, 2026 · attorney review pending
These terms cover anyone who joins Advicity's affiliate program (we also call affiliates "ambassadors") to share Advicity and be paid when the people they bring become paying members. They were written by Advicity, not by a law firm. An attorney will review them; until a Version 2 replaces them, this version applies.
How you agree: by ticking "I agree to the Affiliate Terms" on the affiliate sign-up page. That tick is your electronic signature, and Advicity records the version and the time. No wet ink, no notary.
Partner advisors (people whose own AI advisor is in Advicity) sign the separate Partner Advisor Agreement instead. These terms do not apply to them, except that they follow the same disclosure rules (section 6).
1. Who these terms are between
Advicity LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company registered to do business in Illinois ("Advicity", "we"), and you, the person or business accepted into the program ("you").
2. Who can join
2.1 You must be at least 18, live in the United States, and have a US bank account.
2.2 Advicity reviews every application and may say no without giving a reason. Your account starts when we email you your link and code.
2.3 You do not need to be an Advicity member. If you are, being an affiliate does not change your own plan or its price.
3. What you earn
3.1 The rate. You earn 30% of what each person you refer pays Advicity for a Charcoal, Ink or Brass plan, before sales tax, for the first 12 months from their first paid payment. A yearly payment made inside those 12 months counts in full.
3.2 What does not count. Advicity OS fees, setup or onboarding fees, one-time purchases, gift memberships and extra seats do not earn a share.
3.3 Who counts as your referral. A person counts as yours only if they are new to Advicity's paid plans, signed up within 30 days of opening your link (or typed your code at sign-up), and their first payment went through. If they opened more than one partner's or affiliate's link, the earliest link wins, and a link beats a typed code. You cannot refer yourself, your household, or anyone who has had a paid plan before.
3.4 Hold. A payment earns a share only after Advicity's 30-day money-back window for it has passed without a refund.
3.5 When it stops. Your share on a referred member stops when their 12 months end or their paid plan ends, whichever is first. If they come back later, it does not restart.
3.6 Refunds and disputes. A payment that is refunded (in full or in part), charged back or disputed earns nothing. If we already paid you for it, we take it off your next payments.
3.7 Brass while you send members. In any calendar month in which you send 3 or more new paying members, your own Advicity board is on Brass free for that month. It stops the first month you send fewer than 3. It has no cash value. Like your cash earnings, its value may count as taxable income.
3.8 No other pay. Advicity does not pay for clicks, sign-ups that never pay, or leads.
4. Getting paid
4.1 We pay by ACH bank transfer by the 15th of each month for shares that became payable in the month before, with a statement.
4.2 If your total is under $50, it rolls over until it reaches $50. A rolled-over balance is never lost; it is paid when your account ends.
4.3 Nothing is paid until we have your completed Form W-9 and bank details. Amounts owed meanwhile are held.
4.4 You are responsible for your own taxes. For 2026 payments, Advicity sends Form 1099-NEC when your year's total reaches $2,000.
5. How you may promote Advicity
5.1 Allowed: sharing your link or code in your own posts, videos, podcasts, newsletters, website, and with people you know.
5.2 Not allowed:
- Paid search ads on "Advicity" or any misspelling of it, or using "Advicity" in a domain, app name, social handle or ad account name.
- Coupon, deal, cash-back or rebate sites, or offering anyone part of your earnings to sign up.
- Spam: email, texts or direct messages to people who did not agree to hear from you; buying lists.
- Cookie stuffing, hidden links, auto-redirects, bots, or any trick that credits you for someone who did not choose to click your link.
- Pretending to be Advicity, its staff or a partner advisor, or suggesting Advicity endorses you.
- Claims Advicity does not make: guaranteed results, income, savings, returns, or that Advicity gives financial, legal, medical or tax advice. Advicity's advisors give perspective; the member decides.
- Fake reviews or testimonials, or describing results you did not have.
- Aiming at anyone under 18.
- Using Advicity's logo or brand assets except as provided in our affiliate kit, unchanged.
- Anything illegal, hateful, harassing, sexual, or that promotes self-harm.
5.3 Advicity may review your content and ask for changes. You make them within 2 business days.
6. Telling people you are paid (required)
This is the rule that matters most. The law (the Federal Trade Commission's Endorsement Guides) requires anyone paid to recommend something to say so, clearly, where people will see it. Advicity can be held responsible for what its affiliates say, so this is a condition of the program.
6.1 Every time. Every post, video, podcast, email, newsletter, story, live stream or web page that mentions Advicity says you are paid.
6.2 In the content itself. Not only in your bio, a "links" page, an "about" page, or a sea of hashtags at the end.
6.3 Before or next to the link, and before any "read more" cut, so people see it before they click.
6.4 Said out loud near the start of any video, podcast or live stream, and repeated during long live streams. On video, also on screen long enough to read.
6.5 Plain words. "Affiliate", "#sp", "#collab", "thanks Advicity" or "link in bio" alone are not enough.
6.6 Honest opinions only. Say only what you actually believe. If you have not used Advicity, do not say or suggest you have.
Wording you may use (any of these, or your own words that say the same):
Longer posts, pages, emails, newsletters: "I'm an Advicity affiliate. If you join through my link, Advicity pays me a commission. It doesn't change your price."
Short posts and captions (at the start): "Paid link: I earn a commission if you join Advicity." or "#ad Advicity pays me if you join through my link."
Spoken, near the start: "Quick note: Advicity pays me if you sign up through my link."
Partner advisors: "Advicity pays me. My advisor in Advicity is built from my work, and I earn when members join through my link."
6.7 If we tell you a disclosure is missing or unclear, you fix it within 2 business days. A second miss, or a miss you do not fix, ends your account (section 8.3).
7. Privacy
7.1 You never see the name, email or board of anyone you refer. Your dashboard and statements show counts, payments and dates only.
7.2 We keep your contact details, tax form, bank details and payment records to run the program and because the law requires it. We do not sell them. Our Privacy Policy explains more.
8. Changes and ending
8.1 We may change these terms or the rate with at least 30 days' email notice. A change never reduces a share on a payment already made.
8.2 Either side may end your account at any time by email.
8.3 We may end it at once, and you forfeit unpaid shares that came from the breach, if you break section 5 or 6, commit fraud, or harm Advicity's reputation.
8.4 If your account ends for any reason other than section 8.3, you keep earning on members you already referred until their 12 months end, and we pay any rolled-over balance.
9. General
9.1 You are an independent contractor, not an employee, agent or partner of Advicity. You pay your own costs.
9.2 Advicity provides the program as is and does not promise any level of sign-ups or income.
9.3 Advicity's total liability to you under these terms is limited to what you earned in the 12 months before the claim. Neither side is liable for lost profits or indirect losses.
9.4 You cover Advicity for claims caused by your promotion breaking these terms or the law.
9.5 Illinois law applies. Before going to court we talk for 30 days to try to settle; any dispute then goes to the state or federal courts located in Illinois.
9.6 We may send notices to the email on your affiliate account; you may send them to admin@getadvicity.com.
9.7 These terms, the Advicity Terms of Use and Privacy Policy are the whole agreement about the program.
